Lenovo has introduced its new webcam in the market dubbed the Lenovo Go 4K Pro webcam and the company is offering the device with improved features along with the capability of Microsoft Teams. It is also featuring an AI-assisted autofocus system and it can record HDR videos.
It is also coming with a physical privacy shutter and the same is meant to cover the lens of the device for an additional layer of privacy. The Lenovo Go 4K Pro Webcam is capable to record 4K videos at a frame rate of 30fps and the same will enable 5x digital zoom as well.
The device is also supporting facial recognition and the Lenovo Go 4K Pro webcam also features M.JPEG, YUY2, and H.264 video compression formats. The device is actually a plug-and-play webcam but it is also coming with some additional features rich you need to unlock by installing the software of the device. The Lenovo Go Central provides software support to manage its configurations and the webcam is also supporting auto-framing.
It can be connected to the PC using its USB port (Type A, Type C) and the device is also having a standard 0.25-inch tripod thread socket as well. The webcam’s LED indicator is illuminated whenever the device is in use and the webcam is also featuring a single microphone with a 48kHz sampling rate.
Having said that, the newly announced Lenovo Go 4K Pro Webcam is compatible with Windows and ChromeOS platforms.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the webcam is priced at €119 and it will be available from July 2023. The company is also promising to offer 3 years of warranty on this device as well.
