Sharp has expanded its smartphone series with the launching of two new devices in the market of Japan and the smartphones are called the Sharp Aquos Sense 7 and Aquos Sense 7 Plus. The devices are coming with similar specifications but the big brother is having big display and battery. The newly announced smartphone series is featuring an IGZO OLED display along with 2432 x 1080 pixels resolution. The devices are also coming with 10-bit color depth along with 1,300 nits peak brightness and the devices are also featuring a dewdrop notch. The vanilla model of the smartphone series features a 6.1-inch display along with the traditional 60Hz refresh rate while the big brother of the smartphone series is featuring a 6.4-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and supports up to 240Hz MEMC.
The latest Sharp Aquos Sense 7 series is coming with the power of the Snapdragon 695 mobile processor along with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be expandable using a micro SD card. The smartphone series is running on Android 12 out of the box.
Speaking about the camera department, the devices are featuring a dual camera setup on the back panel and the same includes a 50.3MP 11.55-inch sensor and an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide lens. The device is also featuring an 8MP front facing camera.
Sharp Aquos Sense 7 series is also having IP68-rated (dust and water resistance) rating along with NFC and the same features FeliCa. The smartphone series is also featuring a 3.5mm headphone jack along with dual stereo speakers. The smartphone series is also supporting a fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security.
The devices are also supporting 5G connectivity along with dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GNSS. The vanilla model is having 4,570mAh and the big brother of the smartphone series is coming with a massive 5,050mAh battery.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the company is yet to reveal the pricing information but the same will be available in the market of Japan.
