Windows 11 was announced with a surprising element of support for Android applications and the same is done with WSA (Windows Subsystem for Android) and the company actually reduced the distance between the two operating systems and tried to bring them closer with lots of integrations. Now the technological giant Microsoft has published a roadmap for the update which is confirming that the operating system will get Android 13 support soon.
Along with Android 13, Microsoft is also bringing many useful features including Easy file transfer between the WSA container and Windows. This is going to be the biggest change and the same will be handy for users as well.
Microsoft will also offer “Picture-in-picture” in windowed mode on top of native Windows apps, and the company is also enabling local network access by default as well.
It is worth mentioning that the Android applications support and the related features are currently available in selected markets only and the same is expected to arrive to more parts of the world by next year.
