The United Payments Interface (UPI) is now the most favourite payment method for everyone but the same only allows users to make payments using the bank account which means credit card holders are not able to make payments using this particular payment gateway. But things are going to be changed very soon as it is officially confirmed that credit card holders can use the UPI for the goods and services.
Credit card holders can now make payments using UPI payments using Razorpay payments gateway, and it is also said that Razorpay is the first payment gateway to adopt the NCPI feature which enables users to link their RuPay credit cards with UPI.
It is also revealed that the customers of HDFC Bank, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank as well as Indian Bank will be the first to enjoy the newly implemented payment setup.
Linking credit cards with UPI will be handy as well because users are no need to carry their credit cards to all the places where they visited and this will also enhance security as you will reduce the theft risk as well.
We believe that more banks will be added to the platform very soon and we would like to know your thoughts on the new implementation in the comments section below.
