The very popular as well as nostalgic brand Nokia has started to roll out the latest and sweetest version of the Android operating system – Android 10 for the users of Nokia 2.2. The device was launched in the second half of last year, the device is also part of the Android Go program.
Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer has shared a tweet on his official Twitter handle and announced that the company has rolled outer the Android 10 update for Nokia 2.2. The new update brings all the performance-enhancing features to the device.

With the latest update, the smartphone will receive all the new and trendy features of the latest version of the Android operating system and that includes the much-needed dark mode that will give comfort to the eyes and also many other cool and innovative features.
The company will roll out the update via OTA in the coming days and you can keep check for the update notification on your device and if you didn’t receive any notification then you can check for the update manually by heading to the settings app of the device.
Specifications of Nokia 2.2
The smartphone features a 5.71-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and has a waterdrop-like notch (HMD Global calls it a discreet selfie-notch), along with a brightness of 400 nits. It is powered by 2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor and paired with 2/3GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone supports 32GB of internal storage and that can be expandable upto 400GB via MicroSD card.
Talking about the photography department, the Nokia 2.2 rocks 13-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, along with a 5-megapixel front camera. The camera department also powered by artificial intelligence and it offers better photography even in low light. The smartphone also supports a dedicated button for the Google Assistant, and the button will turn as the walkie-talkie. It also supports Google Lens and Face Unlock feature, which is said to include “liveliness detection” for added security.
Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro-USB port, and GPS. The device ships on a 3,000 mAh battery with 5W charging support.
