Elon Musk took the charge of Twitter last week and the microblogging website is on the headlines continuously after that particular day. Twitter is making noise for various things and now it is said that the company is cutting its 50% workforce.
After implementing new changes by offering the edit button to all the users of Twitter and Musk confirmed to charge fees on monthly basis for the blue tick verification.
Now it is said that Twitter is cutting its workforce and half of its employees are losing the job. It is also said that the top employees of Twitter India are also losing their job and the marketing team also been fired.
It is said that employees started to take legal action but Musk said that they will get the package till February and the same is more than legally required.
Having said that, a Twitter employee reported that she was restricted from the company laptop before the Twitter new decision.

Musk has also said that he has taken the decision because they have no choice when the company is losing over $4 million per day.
Regarding Twitter’s reduction in force, unfortunately there is no choice when the company is losing over $4M/day.
Everyone exited was offered 3 months of severance, which is 50% more than legally required.

It is worth mentioning that Elon Musk fired the topmost executives including the CEO Parag Agrawal on the first day of his entry into the office.
