The December Pixel Feature Drop is coming with VPN by Google One and the same is available without any additional cost for the latest Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro models. Google has unified the security and privacy settings in the Android Settings, the newly added section has action cards up and the same will notify you of any security risks and it will help you to make things better for you.
The latest Pixel Drop is also bringing Clear calling to the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro devices and that will enhance the voice of the callers and reduce their background noise for a better voice call experience. The latest update is also bringing a new capability to the Pixel Recorder and the same now identifies and labels each speaker and it is also featuring line breaks when the speaker changes.
Google is also bringing new capabilities to its Google Pixel Watch and the same now supports the Fitbit Sleep Profile feature, and the same will be available if you have activated your Fitbit Premium subscription. It is said that the feature will be available for free for 6 months on the smartwatch for new buyers.
The feature offers a best picture of your sleep quality at a glance including duration, consistency, disruption, and presents you with an animal that most matches your sleep style.
The company is also bringing new capabilities to the older Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro devices by offering cough and snore detection and the same can be accessed through Bedtime mode. It is also bringing new Pixel wallpapers and new tiles for the Pixel Watch and that includes a Sunrise/Sunset tile from the Weather app. The update is also enabling users to pin up to 5 contacts in the Contacts app.
It is now enabling you to lock or unlock and start your vehicle using Digital car key and the same can be shared with friends and family who need access to said car. It is worth mentioning that this particular capability is currently available with Pixel and iPhone but the company has promised to bring the capability to the selected devices with Android 12.
Apart from that, Gboard is now getting Grammar Check in French language as well and the Live Translate can translate texts in your messaging apps in Arabic, Persian, Swedish, Vietnamese, and Danish on Pixel 6 and newer. The latest update is also making the on-device search more powerful on the Pixel 4a and later and the company is also bringing the Voice Message Transcription to Pixel 4a and newer phones as well.
It is also confirmed that the search engine giant Google will bring the support for spatial audio in January for Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 7, and 7 Pro paired with the Pixel Buds Pro as well as with wired headphones.
Speaking about the availability of the update, it will take some time to reach to all the devices and the company is rolling out the new update via OTA as usual.
