Sony Mocopi Motion Capture Device is having six sensors and the same will enable the recording of movements of the user’s head, left and right wrists, waist, and left and right ankles. The device will connect these movements to the skeleton of the 3D avatar via a smartphone.
The device is also capable to create fast virtual characters along with the capability to transfer character movement information to external 3D animation software.
Moreover, the latest Sony Mocopi Motion Capture Device application is capable to record voices and create facial expressions for the virtual character. It is worth mentioning that the application is currently supported in Sony’s Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 series as well as iPhones. The device is also coming with IPX5/ IPX8 and IP6X.
