Jio Phone 5G is the upcoming 5G enabled smartphone of the popular telecom operator of the country Reliance Jio. Now it is discovered that the device has received important certification in India before its launch. It is spotted that the upcoming Jio Phone 5G smartphone has been listed on the BIS certification platform. The certification platform is not revealing any other information about the device but it is enough to believe that the launching of the device is around the corner.
The benchmarking website has revealed that the upcoming Jio Phone 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC codenamed Holi and it is basically the Snapdragon 480+ mobile processor. The mobile processor is coupled with an Adreno 619 GPU.
It is also revealed that the upcoming 5G enabled smartphone is coming with 4GB of RAM on the board. The benchmarking website is also confirming that the device will be running on Android 12 out of the box and based on the previous report, it is believed that the company will layer a custom skin on top of the operating system and the same will be dubbed PragatiOS. It is also believed that the custom skin is customized for the Indian user base with support for several local languages.
