LAfter adopting 5G connectivity, the Indian smartphone users are eager to experience the next generation of connectivity. Currently, Airtel and Jio are the two telecom operators offering the new connectivity experience but the same is available in the selected cities only as the connectivity is in the beta service. Well, now it is officially revealed that the number of cities will be expanded in the early days of next year and at least four cities of Odisha will experience the new 5G connectivity.
At least four cities in Odisha are expected to receive 5G services by March 2023, according to Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Railways, Electronics and Information Technology (IT).
Currently, Jio is offering its 5G service in Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi, and Kolkata, while Airtel is offering its service across eight cities — Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Siliguri, and Varanasi.
It’s really good to know that the expansion is happening very soon and let’s hope that every region of the country will get 5G connectivity at the earliest.
