The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has announced an industry-first 12nm-class DDR5 dynamic random access memory (DRAM) along with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and the same will go into mass production next year and the same is believed to offer advanced computing capabilities.
Samsung 12nm-Class DDR5 DRAM is the 12nm-class DRAM will offer speeds of up to 7.2 gigabits per second (Gbps) and the same will enable to process two 30 gigabyte (GB) ultra-high definition (UHD) movies in just one second. It is also power efficient as it consumes up to 23% less power than previous DRAMs.
