1. Twitter Announced Its Next CEO:
Well, the biggest buzz around tech world is the new CEO of Twitter. The most controversy oriented social media platform got its first Indian origin CEO, Parag Agrawal. Before being a CEO Parag was the CTO (Chief Technical Officer) at Twitter. 2. Jio Price Hike:
Another most trending news of this week in India was the price hike in Jio prepaid plans. After Airtel & Vi hiked their price last week, Jio ran on the same path this week. That’s majorly because according to TRAI, all private telecoms have to keep their pricing similarly. This is due to huge losses of those telecom brands who don’t have huge userbase as Jio. 3. Snapdragon 8 Gen1 Unveiled:
Qualcomm newly sub-brand “Snapdragon”, which was its mobile chipset brand name for years, also had their biggest event of the year where they announced their next gen flagship SoC for smartphones, the Snapdragon 8 Gen1. This is the successor to Snapdragon 888+, which is already very powerful. As usual they clocked the core speeds a bit more and improved the GPU by a short margin. 4. Redmi Note 11T 5G Launched in India:
Redmi also launched their new Note smartphone in India this week. The Redmi Note 11T 5G is the same smartphone launched as Redmi Note 11 5G in China. It packs some great specs like MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, 50MP camera, 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging, 90Hz IPS Display, and more. 5. Moto G31 Launched in India:
Motorola also launched its budget smartphone in India this week. This Moto G31 has some great features for the price like OLED Display, Helio G85 SoC, 50MP Camera, and Lenovo ThinkShield technology. Above all, Motorola smartphones always stands out as only option for Stock Android lovers. So that is one USP intact with this smartphone as well.
