Google always bring something new to make things easier for its users, now at its annual developer conference Google I/O 2019 event, the company announces that Google Play integrated with United payment interface (UPI) as well as cash payment method. Both the new payment options will help users to purchase applications, and any other type of stuff from Google Play very easily.
The tech giant Google will bring the UPI payment method to Google Play users in India very soon, the company is working with the payments framework developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). However, the company did not reveal the exact timeline but we believe that it will not take a long time.
Google also announced the support for cash to select Google Play transactions. The Internet giant revealed that Google Play users in Japan and Mexico can now use cash to top up their Google Play balance by going to a convenience store. The company is also expanding the support for cash for in-app purchases. That said, the company did not reveal when this feature will expand to other parts of the world.
