Wi-Fi connects the world to the internet and we are going to witness a new standard of and that will give more speed as well as battery life to the devices which are connected to the Wi-Fi. The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) improve the connection and Standards of the internet and now gearing up to bring the new standard of Wi-Fi.
Currently, we are using the 802.11ac and next year a new wireless standard will enforce and that will be dubbed as “802.11ax” but rebranded as Wi-Fi 6. The new standard will give faster Internet connectivity as well as low consumption of the battery, which means with users of the new standard will able to use the high speed internet along with the better battery life. Furthermore, the new standard will offer 2.4GHz Wi-Fi bands and 4.8 Gigabits per second on 5GHz Wi-Fi bands.
Having said that, the current standard can also able to connect to the new 802.11ax chipsets in wireless routers. That’s not all, the popular chipset makes Intel already brought the 802.11ax Wi-Fi chips for the consumer devices. And the new chipsets allow 256 devices to share bandwidth at the same time.
So, let’s wait for the new standard of Wi-Fi and we will update more about the same in the coming days, we recommend you to stay tuned with us for the latest updates at your fingertips.
