Meizu launched two new smartphones, Meizu Pro 7 and Meizu Pro 7 Plus with a unique Rear AMOLED display and Dual camera setup.
Meizu has added a secondary screen at the back of the Meizu pro 7 and the Meizu pro 7 plus smartphones.The secondary display shows the essential details like Time, notifications, weather and also a selfie displaying screen for taking portraits from the rear camera.This secondary display is placed at the back of the display along with dual camera setup.The durability and user friendliness have to be considered before having it.This secondary AMOLED display is also said to be the USP of the smartphone.
Meizu Pro 7 Spec sheet
The Meizu Pro 7 sports a 5.2-inch FHD Super AMOLED display (1080 x 1920 pixels) and a 1.9- inch Super AMOLED secondary display (240×536 pixels) with a pixel density of 307 ppi.The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P25 Octo-core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz with Mali- T880 GPU coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal storage in it. The other variant will get a MediaTek Helio X30 Deca-Core Processor clocked at 2.6 GHz with the 10nm process with powerVR 7XTP-MP4 GPU coupled with same 4GB RAM and higher 128 GB of internal storage.
The smartphone runs on Flyme OS 6 based on Android N 7.0.Meizu Pro 7 sports a 12- megapixel Dual rear shooter which is a combo of Monochrome and RGB with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and LED Flash. The front holds a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone holds a powerhouse of 3000mAh battery with mCharge 4.0 fast charging.

The Meizu Pro 7 Plus sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) Super AMOLED display, and a 1.9-inch secondary display at the back similar to the Meizu Pro 7. The smartphone is powered MediaTek Helio X30 Soc clocked at 2.6 GHz with 10nm process and PowerVR 7XTP-MP4 GPU coupled with 6GB RAM and comes with 64GB and 128GB internal storage options.
The smartphone runs on Flyme OS 6 based on Android N 7.0.The camera setup is similar to the Meizu pro 7 with 12-megapixel dual camera setup (Monochrome +RGB) with a 16-megapixel front shooter.The battery capacity is 3500mAh with support for mCharge 4.0 fast charging.Both the device sports a slim design with metal finish. The home button on the front also holds a fingerprint scanner underneath and the USB Type-C port and Speaker grille are at the bottom of the smartphone. While the Power and volume Rockers are on the right edge of the smartphone.The mobile phone also comes with a 3.5mm Headphone Jack.
Price and Availability
The Meizu Po 7 comes with two different SoC options. Meizu Pro 7 with Helio P25 SoC and 64GB storage is sold at CNY 2,880 (roughly Rs. 27,400) and Meizu Pro 7 powered by Helio X30 SoC and 128GB storage priced at CNY 3,380 (roughly Rs. 32,200).It will be available in Black, Gold and Red color variant.
The Meizu Pro 7 Plus also has two variants with different storage options.The Meizu pro 7 plus with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage costs CNY 3,580 (roughly Rs. 34,100) and the 128GB version costs CNY 4,080 (roughly Rs. 38,800). The Meizu pro 7 plus 64GB variant will be available in Matte Black, Space Black, Amber Gold, and Crystal silver. The 128GB variant will be available only in Matter black or space black.Both the smartphones will be available in China from August 5.
