The Chinese brand Meizu has expanded its portfolio with the launch of its latest smartphone called Meizu 16Xs. The company has launched the device in the market of China and it’s coming with good specifications and a perfect device for those who are looking for a mid-range smartphone.
Specifications of Meizu 16Xs
The device sports a 6.2-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2232 X 1080 pixels resolution and the device is coming with 18:6:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 675 processor and paired with 6 GB of RAM along with Adreno 612 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the device will be available in two storage variants – 64 GB and 128 GB.
Coming to the camera department, the Meizu 16Xs features triple rear cameras and that’s in the combination of 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel 118-degree ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and a last 5-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The device also supports the in-display fingerprint scanner, along with the EP2C Type-C headset with built-in DAC.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5, GPS, 3.5 mm headphone jack. The smartphone runs on Android Pie-based Flyme OS 7, and ships on 4,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
Pricing and availability
The 64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,698, while the 128GB storage option will have the price tag of CNY 1,998. The EP2C Type-C headphone is priced at CNY 129. The device will go on sale in the market of China from June 10.
