As promised, Honor has officially introduced its latest flagship smartphone series dubbed the Honor 80 series which includes the vanilla variant and Pro model. The smartphone series is coming with a 160 megapixel primary sensor on the back panel. The Pro model is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile processor. Specifications of Honor 80 Pro
The device is featuring a 6.78-inch curved OLED display along with a 1.5K pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also featuring a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, along with a punch-hole setup at the centre position of the screen and that will accommodate dual front facing camera as well as a PWM frequency of 1920MHz. The latest Honor 80 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile processor along with up to 12 GB of RAM on the board and up to 512 GB of internal storage. The device is running on Android 12 with Magic OS 7.0 out of the box.
Speaking about the camera department, the device is featuring a triple rear camera setup with a 160-megapixel main camera along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Honor 80 Pro also sports a pill-shaped cutout on the top of the screen and that is accommodating a 50-megapixel front camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It is also featuring a single punch hole set-up at the centre position of the screen.
The device is featuring a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Everything remains the same as the big brother.
Pricing and availability
The pricing of the Honor 80 starts at 2699 yuan while the Honor 80 Pro pricing starts at 3499 yuan. The smartphones will be available for pre-orders in China starting from November 23.
