Elon Musk seems like he can do no wrong; everything he touches turns to gold and his latest acquisition is the media giant Twitter, which cost him a staggering $44 billion. Why on Earth would he pay such an absurd amount of money for a media outlet? Some would say he is championing free speech; many high profile people were banned from Twitter, YouTube and Facebook and Elon is defending the right to free speech. He has reinstated Donald Trump’s account, along with many others, and so far, he has been true to his word, firing thousands of employees as he streamlines the organisation.
Can he make a profit?
Profit is the name of the game in every industry and media is no different; Elon will obviously have a plan on how to generate revenue on his new platform and if you are thinking he doesn’t care about turning a buck, no one spends $44 billion and doesn’t expect a return. Others would say the app development industry is booming; ask any of the app developers Melbourne businesses use, and this is one of the reasons Musk made such an investment.
The media has sold out
Many people would agree that MSM has sold its soul to the highest bidder and real investigative journalism has died a death! Truth-tellers have been banned from all major media platforms; we won’t name them but top virologists and doctors who dare to criticise the government narrative never get a mention in mainstream media. There are those who would say we are no longer living in a democracy and it might be that Elon feels very strongly about this, so much so that he decided to buy the biggest media platform of all! There is growing evidence that US alphabet agencies have been colluding with the media corporations, not that you’d hear that on any MSM platform, of course!
Someone has to make a stand
People are not stupid and what we are seeing from governments around the world is a co-ordinated plan to try and keep their narrative alive, which is becoming next to impossible with the emerging health data around the world. Yes, many people are standing up to be counted over this blanket dictatorship and it takes someone like Elon Musk to actually break the MSM’s hold on what we are allowed to see. One of Elon’s biggest challenges
While most people would say that Elon Musk’s pledge to colonise Mars is his toughest challenge yet, other think making money out of his Twitter acquisition is a much harder goal to achieve. He walked into the space race and stole the NASA contract to supply the ISS with his SpaceX reusable rockets, which is an astounding achievement. He actually said that in the early days of SpaceX, he had enough money for one final launch and if that had failed, it would have been the end of the company.
Whether you love or hate Elon Musk, you have to admire his entrepreneurial skills and the level of bravery it has taken to reach this point. Tesla cars are rolling off the production line at very high numbers and the entire world is watching what this amazing guy is going to do next.
