The Chinese brand Honor has introduced a new gaming smartphone in the market of China dubbed Honor 80 GT and the device is coming with the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile processor along with a high refresh rate display. It is running on Android 13 out of the box and the company is offering the device with a premium designing setup as well. The Honor 80 GT features a 6.67-inch flat OLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also featuring 300Hz touch sampling rate, peak brightness of 1400nit, and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
The device is coming with the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 + mobile processor along with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is also featuring an independent display chip and the same can increase the game frame rate by up to 100% and reduce the power consumption by 25%.
The device featuring a triple rear camera setup with a 54MP main camera (Sony IMX800), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The device is featuring a 16MP selfie camera.
It is also supporting IR blaster, NFC, and linear motor. The device is running on Android 13 with MagicOS 7.0 out of the box and it is housing a 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
In terms of pricing and availability, the 12GB + 256GB is coming with a price tag of 3299 Yuan and 16GB + 256GB model is priced at 3599 Yuan. The device will be available in the market of China from January 1.
