Back in June, Reliance announced its latest entry-level smartphone called the JioPhone Next and the device was believed to be available in the market of India from September 10 but the company came up with the an update on the availability and revealed that the device will be available in the country before Diwali this year.
Well, we are hearing about the smartphone since June this year and many reports appeared online with the important specifications of the smartphone but today Reliance has shared a video which officially confirms the important specifications and also confirms that it will run on a custom OS on top of Android. It is worth mentioning that the smartphone is developed in collaboration with Google and thr operating system is said to be made for the users of the country. In the newly shared video, the company has confirmed that the upcoming JioPhone Next will be running Pragati OS and it will be based on Android. The company also claims that the operating system is coming with all the features to cater to entry-level smartphone.
JioPhone Next is also confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm chipset but the company did not mention the exact name of the processor but the previously leaked information suggested that the device will be powered by Qualcomm 215 processor. The device is also confirmed to features a voice assistant and that will enable you to navigate across the Smartphone and also to get information from the internet.
The video also confirms that the JioPhone Next will offer a “Translate” feature and the same will enable users to translate any screen to their favourite language. It is also revealed that the upcoming device will have a smart and powerful camera and it is believed to feature a 13 megapixel camera sensor on the back. The camera department of the smartphone will also feature multiple photography modes such as portrait mode, night mode, and more. Users will also get “custom Indian augmented reality filters as well.
