The search engine giant Google has introduced a new application dubbed the Google Health Connect app and the same is made available for the Android platform. The application will offer all your health data in one place and the application is currently in the beta stage.
The newly announced Google Health Connect integrates over ten health, fitness, and wellness apps including Fitbit, Samsung Health, MyFitnessPal, Peloton, Oura, Flo, Lifesum along others. The application is co-developed by Google and Samsung.
The Google Health Connect app weighs only 3MB and you can download the application from Google Play Store. It is a good solution by Google as everything will be in one place and this will avoid privacy concerns as well.
The app will show the permissions that are granted to each health and fitness app on the device. The health data stored via Health Connect can be deleted at any time. The Google Health Connect app supports more than 40 data types spanning six categories.
