Along with its rotating screen smartphone the South Korean electronics brand, LG has a launcher yet another device in the market of India and that is LG velvet. The company has launched the device with the power of the Snapdragon 845 processor instead of Snapdragon 765 which was in the Global market. The South Korean electronics brand has also introduced its dual-screen accessory in India with this particular smartphone. Specifications of LG Velvet
The smartphone features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 1080 X 2460 pixels resolution along with 395 PPI density, and it also features a drop notch design at the centre of the screen. The Dual Screen brings an additional 6.8-inch full-HD+ Cinema FullVision POLED display with 20.5:9 aspect ratio on board.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with 6GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device comes with 128 GB UFS 2.1 internal storage.
Moving to the photography department, the LG Velvet’s “raindrop” triple rear camera setup consist of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture followed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The last of three cameras is a 5-megapixel sensor. with f/2.4 aperture for portrait shots. It also supports HDR and video recording at 30 fps in 1080P. The smartphone also comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture housed inside the drop notch. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner along with the face unlock for security.
Regarding the connectivity options, the LG Velvet supports Wi-Fi, LTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0. Unlike other flagships, this phone retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and has USB Type-C port for data transfer and charging. Its software is based on Android 10, and the smartphone is backed on a fairly sized 4,300 mAh battery for pulling through a full working day. The charger inside the box is rated at 30 Watts.
Other features include IP68 water resistance, fast wireless charging with up to 10 Watt power, and stylus support.
Pricing and availability
The smartphone is coming with a price tag of ₹36,990 and the same will be available across the country from October 30.
