The popular computer chipset maker Intel has officially announced its new Intel 13th-generation Raptor Lake processors. It is coming with improvements and the same will be available from next month. So without making any further delay let’s dive into the article to check out the complete details.
It is officially revealed that the newly announced chips are built on an upgraded version of the Intel 7 process and the same features a third-generation SuperFin transistor. It is also coming with x86 performance hybrid architecture and the chips include Performance cores (P-cores) as well as Efficient cores (E-cores).
The high-end chipset in the new Intel 13th Generation Raptor Lake lineup is the Intel Core i9-13900K and the same features 24 cores along with eight performance cores and 16 efficiency cores. It can able to reach up to 5.8GHz Max Turbo frequency and the same is claimed to be 15 percent faster than its predecessor in single-threaded tasks and 41 percent better in multi-threaded work.
The series is also coming with the Intel Core i5-13600K and the same features 14 cores along with six performance cores and eight efficiency cores as well as 20 threads. The Intel Core i7-13700K is also featuring 16 cores that includes eight performance cores and eight efficiency cores as well as 24 threads.
The company has also increased the L3 cache and L2 cache on the chips. It is also supporting PCIe Gen 5.0 with up to 16 lanes off the processor along with DDR5-5600 and DDR5-5200 support. The newly announced offering is also compatible with DDR4 memory for the motherboard makers. Core i5, i7, and i9 chips have a base power of 125 watts while the Core i7 and Core i9 has 253 watts for their max turbo power.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the Intel Core i9-13900K is priced at $589 while the Intel Core i5-13600K is priced at $319 and the Intel Core i7-13700K has a price tag of $409. The new Intel 13th Generation Raptor Lake chips will start shipping from 20th October.
