The HMD Global owned smartphone manufacturer, Nokia held an event today at which the company launched the all-new X Series that consist of Nokia X10 and X20. These smartphones are powered by Snapdragon SoC and come with ZEISS branded camera. Both smartphones share the specifications except for the camera, storage and colours. Specifications of Nokia X10
The Nokia X10 features a 6.67-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution. It also comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio and offers a peak brightness of 450 nits. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC and is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The rear panel is made of polycarbonate.
Coming to the camera department, it flaunts a ZEISS stamped quad-camera setup lead by a 48MP camera, followed by a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The other cameras include two 2MP units for macro and portrait shots. It also houses an 8MP camera unit inside the centrally aligned punch hole. It also Nokia sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for additional security.
In terms of connectivity, it features 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and NFC. Other features include a MicroSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port. The smartphone also offers a dedicated Google Assistant key. In terms of software, the Nokia X10 runs the Android One version based on Android 11. The highlight here is that the company promises 3 years of Android updates and 3 years of monthly security patches. It is backed by a 4,470 mAh battery and supports 18W charging but does not come with a charger.
Specifications of Nokia X20
The X20 sports the same set of specifications as the Nokia X10. However, the difference lies in certain areas such as the primary camera, storage and colour options. So let us focus on the difference and see how it holds up against the X10.
Starting with the camera setup, unlike the former the Nokia X20 sports a 64MP primary camera which is also licensed by ZEISS. One other key difference lies on the front as the X20 houses a 32MP snapper inside the punch hole. In terms of stirage the Nokia X20 offers 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It weighs a total of 220 grams.
Pricing and Availability
The Nokia X10 will retail at a global average price of €309 whereas the X20 will be sold at €349. Nokia X10 will be sold from May and the latter will be sold from June.
