Nokia has started its MWC 2022 campaign with the launching of its new smartphones in the Nokia C series and the company has announced Nokia C21 and Nokia C21 Plus smartphones. Both smartphones are coming with big battery along with the power of the Android 11 operating system. Nokia C21
The latest Nokia smartphone features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 1600 X 720 pixels resolution along with a 20:9 aspect ratio and it is also offering a waterdrop notch on the top of the screen. It is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A octa-core processor along with PowerVR GE8322 GPU. The mobile processor of the smartphone is paired with 2GB RAM, 3GB RAM, and 4GB RAM along with 32GB and 64GB internal storage that can be expandable using a Micro SD card as well.
Speaking about the camera department, the device features a dual-camera setup on the back that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an LED flash. The smartphone is also featuring a 5-megapixel front facing camera.
The smartphone is running the Android 11 Go Edition operating system out-of-the-box and the company has promised for two years software updates. It is worth mentioning that the company has introduced the device with two battery options — 5,050mAh and 4,000mAh battery. Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports a regular set of connectivity options on the board and it is also featuring a fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security. On the other hand, the latest Nokia C21 smartphone features the same 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio but it is not featuring the IP ratings.
The device is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A processor along with 2GB RAM as well as 3GB RAM and 32GB as well as 64GB internal storage that can be expandable using a micro SD card.
Talking about the camera department, the device features an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel snapper on the front side. It runs the Android 11 Go Edition and otherwise houses a 3,000mAh battery. It is also featuring a fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security.
Pricing and availability
The pricing of the Nokia C21 starts at around £83 while the Nokia C21 Plus has a starting price of about £100. Nokia C21 will be available from next month while the Plus model will be available in select markets from April.
