The Companion Mode is one of the highly anticipated features of WhatsApp and the same was in the developing stage for the past couple of months and now the company has officially rolled out the feature in the beta version for the Android Operating System. The feature will enable you to link your primary WhatsApp account in a separate device which means you can use the same WhatsApp account on multiple devices.
The latest beta version for Android is getting the Companion Mode and this feature will enable you to link your WhatsApp account on a different device as well. You can able to check your personal messages and calls. Everything will be end to end encrypted as well.
But there are some limitations as well, it will not enable you to use live locations and manage broadcast lists along with stickers but we believe that the same will be available in the future updates.
Apart from this, WhatsApp is also working on some new features like do not disturb mode for the instant messaging application and this feature may enable you to mute the notifications.
