Famous gaming laptop brand MSI has unveiled a series of new laptops in the on-going CES 2022 event. These laptops vary in different price segment with different specifications and you will see the latest Intel 12th Gen Processor in these. So let’s look at all the new MSI Gaming & Creator’s Laptops:
MSI Stealth GS77 & GS66 (2022):
These two are the lightweight gaming laptops. The GS77 has 17-Inch display and GS66 has 15.6-Inch display. Both comes with options like Quad HD Res with 240Hz refresh rate, Full HD Res with 360Hz, and 4K Res with 60/120Hz on GS66/77 respectively. The 4K one has 100% sRGB as well. Both has up to Core i9-12900H processors with up to Nvidia 16GB RTX 3080 Ti Graphic Card. There would be up to 32GB DDR5 RAM (upgradable up to 64GB) and 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD.
The MSI GS66 has 720p Webcam with facial recognition, whereas GS77 has 1080p Webcam with Windows Hello support. Both has all major ports like Thunderbolt 4, regular Type-C, USB-A, Ethernet, HDMI 2.0, and headphone jack. The GS66 weighs at 2.1 KG with 18mm thickness, and the GS77 weighs at 2.58 KG with 20mm thickness. Price of GS66 starts at $2,499 and GS77 at $1,799.
MSI Raider GE76 & GE66 (2022):
This Raider gaming lineup is focused more on flashy design with power pack performance. There are RGB Lightings all over the body with RGB Keyboards as well. GE66 has 15.6-Inch display and GE76 has 17-Inch. These laptops have similar specs like the Stealth series, but the maxed-out CPU here is Intel Core i9-12900HK. Graphic Card is same RTX 3080 Ti with 16GB VRAM.
In terms of display, The GS66 has Full HD with 360Hz refresh rate, and 4K with 120Hz refresh rate. And the GS77 has both these options along with Full HD 144Hz panel option as well. There’s 1080p Webcam on both but with Windows Hello. The GS66 weighs at 3.2 KG and GS77 weighs even higher at 3.99 KG, which is certainly not meant for fully portability. GS66 starts at $2,249 and GS77 at $1,599.
MSI Vector GP76 & GP66:
This is a new lineup MSI launched at the event, with very similar specs as the above two. Like 17-Inch display for GP76 and 15.6-Inch for GP66. GP76 comes with up to Core i9-12900HK, while the GP66 with Core i9-12900H. The graphic card is maxed-up with 8GB RTX 3080, along with upgradable 32GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB SSD storage. In display there are Full HD 360Hz or Quad HD 240Hz panel on GP76, and Full HD 144/360Hz options on GP66. There’s 720p Webcam as well. In terms of ports, this one has advantage of DisplayPort 1.4 for additional monitor connectivity.
The MSI Vector GP66 starts at $2,249 and GP76 at $1,899 for base variants.
MSI Pulse GL76 & GL66 (2022):
This series is more budget oriented as compared to above three. The GL66 has 15.6-Inch display whereas GL76 has 17-Inch display. Both comes with Full HD144hz panel, but GL76 also has a 360hz option. It comes with up to Core i7-1200H processor and RTX 3070 Graphic Card.
You get up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB SSD. Rest specs are similar to the Vector series. The GL66 is priced at $1,299 whereas GL76 at $1,349.
MSI Crosshair 15 & 17:
This is another fresh lineup launched today. Out of the two 15.6-Inch and 17-Inch models, the 15.6-Inch one has more powerful Core i9-12900H processor, whereas the 17-Inch model has only up to Core i7-12700H processor. Both comes with up to RTX 3070 Graphic Card, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and 512GB SSD Storage. Both has Full HD panel with 144Hz refresh rate, but 15.6-Inch model also has 360Hz option. There are sufficient number of ports in both.
There’s also a special Crosshair 15 Rainbow Six Extraction Edition which comes with a different colorful yellow design, partnered with Ubisoft. There’s a Quad HD 165Hz panel, Core i7-12700H CPU, RTX 3070 GPU, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD. The Crosshair 15 starts at $1,599, Crosshair 17 at $1,649, and Crosshair Rainbow Six Extraction at $1,999.
MSI Katana GF76 & GF66 (2022):
This is the last gaming laptop in today’s launch, the MSI Katana GF76 (17-Inch) and GF66 (15.6 Inch). Both has Full HD 144Hz panel, up to Core i7-12700H processor, RTX 3070 (GF66) & 3070 Ti (GF76) Graphic Cards, 32GB DDR4 RAM, and 1TB SSD storage. Both has all the necessary selection of ports as well. The GF66 starts at $1,099 and GF76 at $1,249.
MSI Creator Z17, Z16 & Z16P:
Heere is the laptop range for content creators. The Z17 has 17-Inch display, and Z16/Z16P has 15.6-Inch display. Both has Quad HD+ resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 165Hz refresh rate (Z17 &Z16P), 120Hz refresh rate (Z16), and 100% DCI-P3 accuracy.
There’s up to Intel Core i9-12900H processor, RTX 3080 Ti Graphic Card, 64GB DDR5 RAM, and 2TB SSD storage. All three have plenty of ports, but none of them has Ethernet port. The Z17 starts at $3,249, Z16P at $2,999, and Z16 at $2,499.
MSI Creator M16:
And finally, last MSI laptop, the Creator M16 which is aimed for creators on a budget. It has 16-Inch Quad HD+ display with 60Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 accuracy. It comes with up to Core i7-12700H processor, RTX 3060 Graphic Card, 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD Storage. It starts at $1,499.
And these are the laptops launched by MSI in CES 2022. They said that all these models will be up for pre-order on 25th January, and shipping will start from 1st February.
