Back in last month, we came across an article which suggested that the popular music streaming service Spotify will launch in India very soon. Well, today Spotify finally makes its way to the Indian market and this will be a dream come a true day for many music lovers.
I don’t believe that the application requires an introduction but I am explaining a bit for those who may unaware of this wonderful music streaming services. It like other music streaming services and it comes with the free plans but it will contain advertisements that would pop-up at a regular intervals and the company offers the premium subscription to the users who don’t want the advertisements.
The company allows users to subscribe the premium membership for a day to a year, which means you can take a test with a subscription for one day and if you like the service then you can opt subscription for the complete year. The company has a variety of subscription plans which you can find below.
Spotify Premium Subscription Plans:
- 1 day: ₹13
- 1 week: ₹39
- 1 month: ₹129
- 3 months: ₹389
- 6 months: ₹719
- 1 year: ₹1189
That said, Spotify is offering a 50% discount to the students on its monthly plan and the company also giving free trial for 30 days to all the music lovers.
Personal speaking, it’s really good to have such an amazing music platform in India but I feel that Spotify will not have an easy go on in the Indian market because the company have to face many opponents such as Apple Music, Google Play Music, Amazon Prime Music, Gaana, JioSaavn, and Hungama.
