Gmail is one of the very popular email clients and the search engine giant Google has now updated the user interface and that includes a Material You design. It is worth mentioning that the design was announced earlier this year. Gmail is now getting the updated user interfaces and the same will be reflected to all users, the new user interface includes a new integrated layout to the platform. The newly implemented designing setup also features a sidebar to the left side of the screen and that will enable users to switch between Mail, Chat, Spaces, and Meet easily.
Gmail will also notify users about the new Chat and Spaces messages through notification bubbles and the same is available at the left corner of the screen and that is placed at the bottom. Now Gmail will also enable users to show or hide the side panel of menus on Gmail manually.
The new design will also enable you to access individual or group chat messages, from the Chat tab. Moreover, the support page of the Mountain View company Google also says that the Gmail users can able to use the new view by turning on Chat in Gmail and setting Chat to the left-hand panel.
