The popular online streaming platform Netflix is trying hard to attract more and more users on the board and now the company has introduced a new feature on the board which is called spatial audio. This new implementation will enhance the audio of the content especially for those users who use headphones. So without making any further delay let’s dive into the article to check out the complete details of the new implementation.
Netflix has joined its hand with Sennheiser to develop an expanded spatial audio output and the same can be streamed through stereo speakers or headphones. It is worth mentioning that there is no need for any additional hardware or a professional surround setup.
The platform will now use Sennheiser’s Ambeo 2-Channel Spatial Audio format and Netflix also supports Apple’s spatial audio on Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad devices to deliver a rich surround sound experience with 5.1 surround sound and Dolby Atmos audio. Having said that, you need to set the “Streaming quality” parameter to “High or Auto”.
The newly implemented feature will be available to all Netflix subscribers and the same will work on the devices which not supports spatial audio.
So enjoy the new audio setup on Netflix and take your enjoyment to the next.
