Now the company has officially confirmed that the pricing will be increased by the end of this year and the company will also offer an ad-supported plan as well on the board. During the Q3 FY22 earning webcast, the company officially announced that Disney Plus will increase the pricing of its subscription plans and the same will also be affected on its other streaming services including Hulu and ESPN Plus.
It is also revealed that the pricing will be increased from $7.99 to $10.99 per month, the company will also implement an ad-supported tier for $7.99 per month. Having said that, the pricing of Hulu will be increased from $6.99 to $7.99 for the ad-supported package while the ad-free package of the service will be increased from $12.99 to $14.99. On the other hand, the pricing of the ESPN Plus is going from $6.99 to $9.99.
The new pricing of Disney Plus and Hulu will be implemented on December 8 and the company will launch the ad-supported plan on the same day. However, ESPN Plus new price will be implemented on August 23.
