Vivo officially introduced its new Vivo S16 series in the market of China and the smartphone series includes the Vivo S16, S16 Pro, and S16e. The smartphones arrive as the successor to the Vivo S15 series. The devices are coming with a pretty decent designing setup along with good specifications. Everything about Vivo S16 series
The newly announced Vivo S16 series features an AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate, and it is also revealed that the devices are supporting an in-display fingerprint scanner. The vannila model of the smartphone series is featuring a flat 6.62-inch display while the Vivo S16 and S16 Pro offers a 6.78-inch display with curved edges. The devices are featuring a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen.
Speaking about the camera department, the Vivo S16e features a 50MP main sensor along with 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth lens. It is featuring a 16MP front-facing camera. While the vanilla model of the smartphone series is featuring a 64MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The Pro model features a 50MP OIS-enabled main lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. Both devices are coming with a 50MP front facing camera.
The Vivo S16e is powered by the Exynos 1080 SoC while the Vivo S16 and S16 Pro models are powered by the Snapdragon 870 and Dimensity 8200 chipsets respectively. The smartphone series is coming with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The Vivo S16 series is backed by a 4,600mAh battery along with 66W fast charging and the smartphone series is running on Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0 out of the box.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the Vivo S16e starts at RMB 2,099 while the vanilla model of the smartphone series pricing starts at RMB 2,499 and the Vivo S16 Pro starts at RMB 3,299. The pre-sales of the smartphone series started in China today.
