Just a couple of days ago, we came across a report which suggested that Apple will be powering its upcoming AR/VR headset by xrOS. It was believed to be announced in next year but today we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that the launching of the device might be delayed because of software related problems.
According to the latest information by Ming-Chi Kuo, the highly anticipated Apple AR/VR headset is currently facing unspecified software-related issues and this could make the launching of the device late. It is also reported that the mass shipments of the device is now set to the second half of next year, i.e. 2023.

The mass shipment schedule of components is still likely 1H23/2Q23, but due to postponed mass shipment schedule of the end product, Apple MR headset shipment forecast in 2023 will likely be less than 500k units, which is lower than the market consensus of 800k-1,200k units.— 郭明錤 (Ming-Chi Kuo) (@mingchikuo) December 4, 2022
It is also suggested that the mass shipments for the components of the device are likely to start around in the first half of 2023, but the company will start the shipping of the fully assembled device not before the second half of next year.
So let’s wait for more details about the same in the coming days and we recommend you to stay tuned with us for more interesting information from the technological world at your fingertips.
