The highly anticipated 5G service is very close to the reality in India as recently the government has done with the bidding process and now it is suggested that the country will be able to experience the next generation connectivity in the second week of October.
Union Communications, Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw have hinted that the 5G service is expected to roll out in the country on October 12 which means we are just a couple of weeks away to experience the high speed internet connectivity in the country.
Having said that, the telecom network acquired 19,867.8 MHZ spectrum in 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 3300 MHz, and 26 GHz bands. It is worth mentioning that the company acquired spectrum worth ₹43,084 crores.
It is also revealed that the 13 cities of the country will experience the 5G connectivity in the initial stage. The connectivity will be expanded to other parts of the country as well gradually.
