The Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the highly anticipated 5G connectivity in the country earlier today at the Indian Mobile Congress and the next generation connectivity will be available in selected cities in the early stage. 5G is expected to be available across the country by the end of next year. Well, BSNL which is state owned telecom operator has also revealed the rolling out timeline of its 5G services and the users of BSNL are not required to wait for similar to the 4G connectivity as BSNL rolled out 4G recently.
It is officially confirmed that BSNL will be rolling out its 5G services in the country as soon as August 15 2023 which means the state owned telecom operator will also adopt the high speed internet connectivity by next year.
In coming 6 months, 5G services to be available in over 200 cities, attempts being made to make 5G services available in 80-90% of country in next 2 years. It is also revealed that in the coming 6 months the 5G connectivity will be available in 200 cities in the country.
Airtel will start offering 5G connectivity in the country in as many as 8 cities from today itself and other cities include Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi, and Bangalore. It is also revealed that Airtel will cover the 5G connectivity across the country by March 2024.
On the other hand, it is also revealed that Jio 5G services will be available across the country in every district and taluka by the end of December 2023. It is also revealed that the Jio 5G pricing will be the most affordable in the world.
