The very popular drone maker’s DJI has unveiled a new product called DJI Mavic Air 2 and the same is coming with the cool image taking capabilities along with flight as well as safety. So, let’s check out the complete details of the newly unveiled drone.

It rocks a new 1/2″ 48MP Sony IMX586 camera and that can able to capture images in either 12MP using pixel-binning or in the full 48MP resolution. It also comes with the new SmartPhoto, which uses advanced scene analysis and deep learning and the same will automatically select different modes: HDR, Hyperlight, and scene recognition.
Speaking about the HDR mode, It captures seven images with varying exposures and turns them into a single image. While the Hyperlight mode, its basically a night mode, and the camera clicks multiple images and combine together to reduce noise. Finally the Scene recognition mode, it is capable to detect sunsets, blue skies, grass, snow, and trees.
The drone can also shoot video in 4K video at up to 60fps and 120Mbps, and the same can also offer 120fps or 240fps at 1080p with 4x and 8x slow motion, respectively. The latest DJI Mavic Air 2 also supports FocusTrack, and the same has three modes: ActiveTrack 3.0, Point of Interest 3.0, and Spotlight 2.0.
It also supports hyperlapse videos in 8K and offers four flight modes, such as Free movement, Circle, CourseLock, and WayPoints. The company has also known as the drone with the improved performance and that is achieved with the new Motors, new electronic speed controllers, along with the improve battery and aerodynamics.
The DJI Mavic Air 2 also features improves proprietary OcuSync 2.0 transmission technology, and the same will provide a stable HD feed from a maximum distance of 10km with no obstructions. It is powered by either 2.0GHz or 5.8GHz frequency bands with auto-switching to avoid interference. Moreover, that drone is also coming with extra safety measures as it can automatically identify obstacles with the sensors on the front and the backside.
