Nubia is currently working on its upcoming smartphone series and the same will include the Red Magic 8 and Red Magic 8 Pro. The devices will be officially in the market of China and the same is expected to be the world’s first gaming phone with the power of the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor. Now the Pro model of the device appeared the Chinese certification platform TENAA and the listing seems to be taken down according to a report on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. The upcoming Red Magic 8 Pro will be featuring a 6.8-inch OLED display along with 2480 x 1116 pixels resolution. It will be powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor and the Red Magic 8 Pro will be official with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The device is expected to support LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The upcoming Red Magic 8 Pro will be housing massive 5,000mAh and 6,000mAh battery variants and the 3C listing of the device will be supporting up to 165W fast charging solution and the device is believed to run on Android 13 out of the box.
Speaking about the camera department, the device will be featuring a 16-megapixel under-display camera while the back panel of the device will be featuring a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera set up.
The smartphone series is expected to be official in the market of China in the early days of next year but we don’t have any information on the exact launching date at this moment of time.
