Red Magic 8 Pro series will be official in China on December 26 and the smartphone series will be including the Pro and Pro+ variants. The company has now shared the official images of the upcoming smartphone series and it is revealing the designing setup along with specifications.
Going through the images, the upcoming Red Magic 8 Pro series features a boxy form factor and the left side of the smartphone series is having a volume rocker and power key it is available at the right side. The gaming-centric buttons including a Red-colour slider is also available at the right side along with the power button.
The back panel is having a triple rear camera setup and the same is placed in a pill-shaped module. We can also see the Red Magic branding on the middle left side and a logo at the bottom of the back panel. The Red Magic 8 Pro series is also teased to feature a transparent back panel with kevlar-like pattern but the same is not visible in the images.
Speaking about the front side, it is featuring nearly zero bezels and there is no cutout for the front camera which means the company is offering an under display camera setup. It is also said that the coming Red Magic 8 Pro will offer a 93.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. It will come with a 120Hz refresh rate. The upcoming Red Magic 8 Pro will be featuring ultra-linear dual stereo speakers and the smartphone series will feature Snapdragon sound, 96kHz lossless audio, and 48ms low latency.
The Red Magic 8 Pro series is confirmed to be powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It is expected to arrive with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The vanilla model is expected to house a 5,000mAh cell whereas the Pro+ model will be housing a massive 6,000mAh along with 165W fast charging solution.
It is also revealed that the upcoming Red Magic 8 Pro will feature the industry’s first 3D ice-level dual-pump VC liquid cooling technology and it is also said to have the largest volume of VC cooling in the history of the brand, up to 2068mm³, which is touted to be 100% higher than the traditional VC thermal conductivity.
The upcoming device is also featuring the company’s self-developed Red Core R2 gaming chip, and the same is claimed to offer accurate adjustment to the control links including shoulder keys, vibration, touch, and sound effects.
