Redmi has finally introduced the highly anticipated Redmi Note 12 Pro series in the market of China and the smartphone series was on the headlines for the past couple of weeks. The company has introduced the smartphone series with devices such as Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus, and Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition as well as a Redmi Note 12 Yibo Edition. The smartphone series is offering a 200 megapixel camera sensor on the board and it is also coming with a high refresh rate display along with long lasting battery. Everything about Redmi Note 12 Pro Series
All the three Smartphones of the latest Redmi Note 12 Pro series is featuring a 6.67-inch OLED display with a punch hole setup at the centre position of the screen. It is also offering 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The devices are also featuring a 1920Hz PWM dimming along with a 16,000 level dimming and a 209 panel. It is also supporting a 5,000,0001 contrast ratio, 10-bit color depth, 900 nits peak brightness level, HDR10+, HDR10, and Dolby Vision.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Series is powered by the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 1080 mobile processor along with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage. The Pro Plus and the Explorer Edition models are featuring a 3,000mm² VC cooling system, while the Pro model has a 2,000mm² graphene-based cooling setup.
All the devices are coming with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for an additional layer of security and the devices are also coming with an IR blaster as well as an x-axis linear vibration motor and dual stereo speakers. Regarding the connectivity options, the devices are supporting a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, GNSS, NFC, and USB Type-C.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Series is running on Android 12 with MIUI 13 based on Android 12. It’s a disappointing element as the company must offer the devices with the new Android 13 out of the box.

While the Pro Plus and Explorer Edition features the newly announced 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPX main camera with 11.4-inch along with a 7P lens, ALD coating, f1.65 aperture, and OIS.
All the models of the smartphone series are coming with the same 8MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP macro camera on the back panel. The smartphone series is also featuring a 16MP front-facing camera as well.
In terms of pricing and availability, the Redmi Note 12 Pro with 6GB + 128GB has a price tag of ¥1,699 while the 8GB + 128GB model is priced at ¥1,799 and 8GB + 256GB variant is coming with a price tag of ¥1,999. The top model is the 12GB + 256GB variant and that is coming with a price tag of ¥2,199.
On the other hand, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus with 8GB + 256GB model is priced at ¥2,199 and 12GB + 256GB is having a price tag of ¥2,399. The Redmi Note 12 Yibo Edition is coming with 8GB + 256GB variant with a price tag of ¥2,599 and the Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition with the 8GB + 256GB storage model is priced at ¥2,399. The devices will be available in the market of China by the end of this month.
