The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro on August 10 and the devices will be official alongside the upcoming Samsung foldable smartphones as well. Now the press renders and specifications of the upcoming watch series leaked before its official announcement.
It is also reported that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 will feature 40mm and 44mm sizes while the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will be official in 45mm size. The difference between the devices is the bigger variant features a titanium chassis along with a larger display and a bigger battery.
The source also claims that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 will feature a 1.19-inch AMOLED display along with 396 x 396 pixels resolution while the upcoming Pro model features a 1.36-inch AMOLED display with 450 x 450 pixels resolution and the same will also feature a sapphire glass and that same will protect the display of both models.
It is also said that the 40mm model will house a 284mAh battery while the 44mm variant will have a 410mAh battery. The Watch 5 Pro will feature a 550mAh battery and it is expected to offer up to 80 hours on a single charge. The upcoming Samsung Smartwatch series will also support up to 10W of wireless charging.
The upcoming devices will be powered by the Exynos W920 chip along with up to 16 GB of storage. The LTE variants of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series will feature e-SIM and the watch series will support NFC, GPS, a heart-rate sensor, blood oxygen saturation tracker, and ECG.
It is also believed that the Bluetooth-only model of the 40mm and 40mm Galaxy Watch 5 variants will cost 299 euros and 329 euros. On the other hand, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro with a Bluetooth-only model will have a price tag of 469 euros.
