The foldable smartphones are the new trend in the smartphone industry and Samsung is having a strong base in this particular segment. More and more smartphone brands are coming with a new foldable smartphone and now Vivo is gearing up to launch its first ever foldable smartphone in China on April 11. Having said that, Oppo already introduced its version of the smartphone with the foldable form factor and now we got a new piece of information that suggests the OnePlus Fold is going to be announced in the near future.
OnePlus is currently the sub brand of Oppo and the source says that the company is working on the OnePlus Fold foldable phone and the same is to be rebranded OPPO Find N.

Specifications of Oppo Find N
The device features a 5.49-inch OLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio on the outside while the inward folding display and the same is dubbed as Oppo Serene Display that features a 7.1 inch when the device is unfolded. It sports a 120Hz refresh rate, along with LTPO technology, offers 1,000 nits of peak brightness, and the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
It is also claimed that the newly announced foldable smartphone features a 12-layer display structure and it is also coming with an ultra-thin glass (0.03mm). Under the hood, the brand new Oppo Find N 2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and that is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Oppo has launched the smartphone with a decent 4500mAh battery and the same supports 33W SuperVOOC wired charging, and the device also features 15W AirVOOC wireless charging, along with 10W reverse wireless charging support as well.
Coming to the camera department, Oppo Find N features a total of five cameras that includes a triple rear camera setup which is protected by a ceramic lens plate and the camera is in the combination of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor along with a 16-megapixel sensor with an ultrawide lens and 13-megapixel sensor which is paired with a telephoto lens and the same will also provide 3x optical zoom. It is also coming with a 32-megapixel front camera and that is available on the outer display, and you will get one more 32-megapixel camera on the inner screen.
It is running on Android-based custom operating system and features a Flexform Mode. It divides the top and bottom of the screen automatically and that will provide a laptop like working set up.
You will get a variety of multitasking features on this device as the company offers a Two-Finger Split gesture in the Oppo Find N and this particular feature will enable a user has to swipe two fingers in the centre of the screen, and a multi-screen interface is opened for multitasking. The device will enable users to save their tasks in a split window on the home screen and the same will be in the form of an icon.
The device is also coming with a four-finger zoom capability and that will enable users to bring a floating window and you can call it by pinching the main screen with your four fingers.
The latest Oppo Find N also features a Parallel Window mode and that is meant for a video chat on one side of the device and you can able to do some other things like messaging on the other side of the display.
It is also revealed that the Chinese smartphone brand Oppo is also working with the various brands to offer an enhanced in-car navigation system on the newly announced Oppo Find N. It is also coming with a custom split-camera user interface and this will enable users to capture images using the inner display on one side and then view, share, or delete the recent photo on the other side of the device.
It is also coming with X-axis linear motor and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for an additional layer of security.
