Microsoft has launched a new app called Microsoft Teams. The new app is a chat based workspace, which means you can you can able to unite your team for conversation as well as for productive collaboration. The app will allow you to work on office apps, notes, Skype and many more, all you can do in one place and can be use across multiple devices.
The Teams apps will help you to send private messages, make Skype voice and video calls and messages, the app also has a feature called ‘Tab’. This feature will allow you to integrate with various cloud service. Microsoft hasn’t made clear which services will be available.
The app also provides richer access to documents, it will allow to integrate an editor via Office Online. It will also allow you to open documents in local applications as well. The app also comes with a bot called ‘WhoBot’, it will help you to contact with a person whom you should contact to complete a task.
The Teams app is now available in preview mode, it is available in 181 countries. The app will be available for general public by next year. The app is available in Android, iOS, Windows and the web.
