The South Korean electronics brand LG was a prominent name in the smartphone industry but the company has shut down its mobile business last year due to the loss. But the company promised to roll out Android updates to the eligible devices. Now the company is keeping its promise as the brand has now released the list of devices that will get the Android 12 update and the company has also revealed the name of the devices which will receive the next major Android update and that is Android 13. It is officially confirmed that LG will be rolling out the new Android 12 update to the devices such as Q92 5G, V50 ThinQ, and V50S ThinQ. The devices will receive the new update in the second quarter of this year while the LG Q52, LG Valvet, and LG Wing smartphones will get security updates.
The company has also revealed that the LG wing and LG velvet smartphones will also get Android 13 updates later this year. That means LG will be one of the first brands to update its devices with the Android 13 operating system as Google will be announcing the update in the third quarter of this year.
