The OnePlus 6 which is one of the most amazing Smartphones of the year, the company launched the device in May and now today the device started to receive the latest version of Android. Early in this month, the company started first open beta update of Android Pie which is based on OxygenOS, and within the three weeks of testing, today the company started to roll out the latest version of the Android to the users of the device.
OnePlus which is the leading smartphone brand in the premium category has started to roll out the stable version of Android i.e. Android Pie 9.0, which is based on OxygenOS 9.0 to the OnePlus 6. With this update, the users of the device will get the latest features of the Android 9.0 which the company announced in August.
The latest version of Android brings a new user interface along with the adaptive battery support, it also has new navigation gestures and many other features which you can read by heading over the link. Furthermore, with the latest and stable version of Android 9.0, the company also added Android security patch for the device to September 1, 2018.
The update weighs more than 1.5 GB and it’s rolling out over-the-air (OTA). However, the update is a staged roll-out, that means only a small number of users will receive the update in the initial stage, and the wide roll-out will happen in “a few days”.
