The Taiwan based electronics maker Asus has expanded its portfolio with two new devices called ASUS ZenBook 14 OLED and ASUS ZenBook 17 Fold and the same was unveiled during the ongoing CES 2022 event. The company has unveiled the devices with premium design and it is coming with the power of the latest Intel and AMD chipsets.
ASUS ZenBook 14 OLED
Let’s start with the latest ASUS ZenBook 14 OLED, the device features a 14-inch OLED display with 2880 X 1800 pixels resolution and the display also features a 16:10 aspect ratio, 550-nit brightness, DCI-P3 color gamut, and a 90Hz refresh rate, along with a 0.2ms response time.
ASUS ZenBook 14 OLED is offered with the power of the latest Intel 12th generation Core H-series chips along with DDR5 RAM while the models with AMD Ryzen come with DDR4x RAM.
The device will also feature up to 1TB PCIe storage and the company is also offering an extra M.2 slot. It is also featuring two USB-C connections, a single USB-A port, HDMI 2.0, a headphone jack, and a microSD card slot. The device also supports WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 support. It is worth mentioning that the intel variant of the device will feature two USB-C ports will offer Thunderbolt 4 connectivity. The device featuring a 75Whr battery.
The company is yet to reveal the pricing and availability details of the device.
ASUS ZenBook 17 Fold
This laptop is coming with a foldable display, when you open the device completely then it will provide a 17.3-inch OLED display with QHD screen resolution along with a 4:3 aspect ratio, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 0.2ms response time, and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The device also supports Dolby Vision support.
When the device in the condition of partially fold, the keyboard will be available on the bottom half, and the display size will be a 12.5-inch.
The laptop is having up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD storage. It is also revealed that the laptop will support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 along with Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. The device also has Dolby Atmos quad-speaker system and the laptop is backed by a 75Wh capacity battery.
We don’t have any other information about the laptop at this moment of time but we believe that the company will announce more details of the device in the coming months.
