The newly announced JioBook laptop is coming with a plastic body and the back panel of the device is having the Jio branding. It is also featuring the inbuilt 4G LTE support.
It is offering an 11.6-inch TN display with an HD resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset along with Adreno 610GPU. The chipset is paired with 2GB of LPDDR4X RAM (not expandable) and 32GB of internal storage. The device is running on JioOS.
The JioBook features a dual speaker setup along with dual microphones and the device is also featuring a two-in-one combo port. It is also coming with a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, and an HDMI port. The laptop supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and features a Micro SD card slot.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the JioBook is priced at ₹19,500 and the laptop is on sale via the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The laptop is currently available for government department employees.
