It seems that Qualcomm is gearing up to launch the successor of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor as the specification details of the upcoming chipset with model number SM7475 surfaced online and the same could be dubbed the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2.
The reliable tipster Roland Quandt has revealed the details of the upcoming chipset and the same could be called as Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 as the chipset maker already introduced the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
It is reported that the upcoming CPU is coming with a tri-cluster design with one prime, three gold, and four silver cores. The report also says that the prime core will run at 2.4GHz whereas the gold is said to peak at roughly the same frequency and the silver core will be clocked at 1.8GHz.
We don’t have any other information about the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 mobile processor at this moment of time but we believe that the company will be making the same official during its event later this year and the company will be launching the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 as well at the same event.
