Razer has officially introduced its new gaming console dubbed the Razer Edge 5G and the same is developed in partnership with Qualcomm and Verizon. It is a 5G-enabled handheld gaming console and the same features all AAA games including Android games and games like Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. The device is also coming with the Epic Games launcher as well.
It is also featuring Cloud streaming services such as NVIDIA GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming will also be available in the near future as it is currently in the beta stage. The gaming console also enables remote play options and the same will offer full access to PC libraries through Steam Link, Moonlight, Parsec, and Xbox.
The newly announced Razer Edge 5G gaming console features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display along with a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 mobile platform along with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage that can be expandable using a micro SD card.
It is housing a massive 5,000mAh battery and the same is running on the Android 12 OS. The device is featuring a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Regarding the connectivity options, it is featuring sub-6GHz, mmWave Verizon 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2.
Razer Edge 5G is bundled with the Razer Kishi V2 Pro controller and the same offers advanced haptic feedback and it is also featuring a 3.5mm audio jack as well.
In terms of pricing and availability, the Razer Edge 5G is priced at $399 and the same will be available in the market of the United States.
